    INVINCIBLE / THE BULLETS PASS THROUGH ME / LIKE LIGHT follows the ghost of an old Korean woman killed in a hate shooting, who teams up with a struggling Korean American standup comedian to get revenge on the killer. Think Promising Young Woman meets Bo Burnham meets Kill Bill with better Asian representation.

    TWINK DEATH OF THE UNIVERSE follows a skincare-obsessed Korean American gay trans guy trying to outrun his twink death. Braiding together queer and Korean traditional funeral rites, the play follows Twink as he is forced to face his biggest fear: running out of time. Commissioned and originally produced by Celebration Theatre, Los Angeles, California. Featured in the 2026 Joy Who Lived Festival in Los Angeles.

About the Lead Artists

Oscar K. is a playwright and producer based in NYC and LA. His work has been produced in London, New York City, Fire Island, Boston, and Los Angeles, with National Queer Theater, Skylight Theatre, Celebration Theatre, Harvard College, and others. He was a finalist for the 2028 East West Players Commission, a semi-finalist for the 2026 Van Lier Fellowship, a semi-finalist for O’Neill Playwrights Conference (2026, 2023) and a semi-finalist for the Terrence McNally Incubator (2026, 2025). He was a 2021 Queer (Re)Public Resident Artist at The Theater Offensive and received the 2023 Phyllis Anderson Prize from the American Repertory Theater. Nico Pang (Director of Twink Death of the Universe) is a director and playwright exploring diasporic belonging, ancestral memory, and queerness as possibility. As director of Celebration Theatre's Trans Lineage program, they helmed the world premieres of Trans Lineage: Rites of Passage and Tales of the Transcestors: The Divine. Other directing credits include Center Theatre Group, The Theater Offensive, CHUANG Stage, and Passion of the Cut Sleeve (queer Chinese folklore collective). Nico's plays have been developed with IAMA Theatre, Company One, and SpeakEasy Stage. They are an Artists at Play Emerging Playwright Commission recipient, East West Players 2028 Commission finalist, and 2026 O’Neill National Playwrights Conference semifinalist.
