About the CWP Film series
The film series at The Center at West Park is a vital cultural and community-building initiative. Featuring diverse films that span genres and perspectives, the series offers attendees a unique opportunity for cultural enrichment and artistic exploration. By showcasing niche genres, independent films, and emerging talent, it not only educates the audience on the art of filmmaking but also fosters a supportive community for film enthusiasts. This curated selection contributes to the promotion of the arts, providing a platform for both established and new filmmakers. Ultimately, the film series plays a crucial role in enhancing the cultural vibrancy of the community, offering entertainment, and fostering meaningful discussions in a shared space.
CWP Film Club
The CWP Film Club is a new monthly series which will bring together members after each film for a gathering to build community and participate in an intimate discussion with members of our talkback panels.
On April 27, the CWP Film Club participants will meet with the moderator of the audience talkback, Stephen Adly Guirgis, cast members of the new Broadway adaptation of the film, and more for a post-screening discussion.
Special pricing is available for students and CWP Members. CWP Film Club tickets include reserved seating at the screening.
Screening-only tickets are also available. Please contact CWP Resident Producer Madelyn Paquette at madelyn@centeratwestpark.org or 212-997-4490 with any questions.
