acolyte training is an installation for queer products of Black Southern Christianity.

The installation follows 3 Acolytes exploring community through rites of passage. They exist as nothing while transitioning from child to clergy-member, girl to woman. The Acolytes explore that “nothing” together, and decide what it means to complete training.
