A Spanish-language comedic drama musical where a broken diva, standing in the rain, turns heartbreak, humor and more.
-
La Gata Bajo la Lluvia is a Spanish-language musical monologue with live music that blends theater, intimate concert, cabaret, humor, and Latin melodrama.
On a night shaped by rain, songs, and memories, a stage figure confronts the audience while piecing together the fragments of her story: the loves that marked her, the wounds she tried to cover, the truths she hid in order to survive, and the beauty she found even in the fall.
Through classic Latin ballads and pop songs, the show turns music into living memory. Each song opens an emotional door: to desire, loss, rage, ridicule, glamour, and the deeply human need to be seen.
Written and performed by Charlie Zen, La Gata Bajo la Lluvia celebrates Latin theatricality, excess, vulnerability, and the power to transform pain into performance. It is an intimate, popular, and emotionally charged experience made to make audiences laugh loudly, feel deeply, and leave the theater with something still echoing inside.Cast & Crew
