Fit for Freedom is an immersive performance conceived by multidisciplinary performing artist Neil Totton. This high-energy show introduces the titular character, The Fit Prince, a captivating fitness instructor who highlights the evolution of Black bodies in the fight for liberation and equality, along with a few special guest performers. Fit for Freedom stands out for its expressive musical storytelling as it reimagines fitness as a form of resistance and empowerment with live music, dance, comedy, and community.

Audiences can choose their own celebration by participating in accessible, interactive, aerobic call and response or spectating.

Performing at venues such as Lululemon Hub 17, JCC Harlem, and, most recently, Brooklyn Comedy Collective on Juneteenth, 2025, Fit for Freedom has its roots in The Fit Prince of New York, which debuted in 2018.
