McAlpin Hall is a high-ceilinged open ballroom space on the second floor of The Center at West Park’s Community House. It is an evocative and inspiring venue for your next event, meeting, rehearsal, class, or photo shoot.

Entrance & Accessibility

Entrance at 185 W 86th Street at Amsterdam Avenue (Northeast corner). McAlpin Hall is located on the second floor of the Center at West Park’s Community House and is only accessible by stairs

Rental Policies

Proof of insurance required for events.

Notice of cancellation must be made by email to info@centeratwestpark.org.

No refunds for any cancellation less than 72 in advance. Refunds for earlier cancellation may also be limited or prohibited by the terms of the License.

This session of the NYC Seed Group is free and open to all. We will gather for refreshments starting at 7:15; singing will begin soon afterwards. Feel free to participate by watching or singing and dancing with us, as we lead through a series of songs drawn primarily from U.S. folk traditions.
